Multiscenario Simulation and Prediction of Land Use in Huaibei City Based on CLUE-S and PLUS Models

Analyzing land use changes (LUC) in both past and future scenarios is critical to optimize local ecology formulate policies for sustainable development. We analyzed LUC characteristics Huaibei City, China from 1985 2020, used the CLUE-S PLUS models simulate LU 2020. Then, we compared accuracy of simulation phase chose model project under four 2025. The results showed following: (1) Farmland grassland areas decreased while forestland, water, construction increased. (2) types region are explained well by driving factors, with all receiver operation characteristic (ROC) values greater than 0.8. (3) kappa indices analog modeling were 0.727 0.759, respectively, figure merit (FOM) 0.109 0.201. (4) Under farmland ecological protection scenario (FEP), forestland protected, increasing 1727.91 hm2 86.22 hm2, decreases 2001.96 hm2. These confirm that significantly better slightly rest type. Urban sustainability strong FEP.
